The 20th East China Fair (2010) opens up this morning in Shanghai. It has been noted from the meeting for delegation leaders that nearly 300 foreign trade companies have sent representatives to CEF 2010, the first foreign trade carnival in the year of tiger, to seek opportunities. Producers from Ningbo are said to display many fine products and new items.

The Fair opens on March 1 and will last through the 5th at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, covering four exhibition areas with clothes, home textiles, decorations & gifts, and daily consumer products. Being the first foreign trade show after the traditional spring festival, and the large number of overseas customers, which is only next to Canton Fair, CEF can confidently call itself the ‘First Stop of Foreign Trade’ in the new year. The deals and transactions completed at the Fair are always regarded as one of the indicators to predict the trend of export of consumer products in the firs six months.
